What are your policies for buying cards and comics?
We'll need a list of the cards you have for sale, at least some of the key rares. We'd also like to know if they are in mint condition or if they're played. Once we've reviewed the list, we can give you a preliminary price if we're interested in buying. If the preliminary price sounds good, you'd ship the cards to us (we can give you suggestions on safe methods of shipping). We'll review the cards to be sure the conditions and quantities match the list. Assuming everything is in order, we'll send a check or a series of checks, depending on the deal we work out.
Click here for our want list, these are cards we particularly want and pay a higher price to obtain.

Can I order by mail?
Yes, we do accept orders by mail if you do not want to use our on-line order forms. Just make a list of the cards and comics you want, how many of each you want, and the price each. Mail that list to us with your payment and your name and shipping address.

How many of each card and comic do you have in stock?
We do not post quantities on our web pages because our inventory changes frequently. Generally we have between 10 and 40 of each Magic uncommon and 5-15 of each rare in stock. We might have fewer of some cards from time to time. We have similar quantities of Young Jedi and Pokemon cards. Usually we only have one of each comic book listed, with some exceptions.

| Card and Comic Book Conditions |
The abbreviations you see after some cards and comics indicate the condition of those items (for example, "vg"). Following is a key to the abbreviations we use on our card pages:
| mint
Straight out of the pack.
| nm
A small sign of wear on a corner or two, usually from being put into a plastic sleeve or page or as occurred in the printing process or opening the pack. Any card with no condition indicated will be in NM or better condition.
| ex
Some slight wear around the edges, probably ok without sleeves if played with similar condition cards.
| fine
Wear on 2-3 edges, perhaps some wear on the card back or front. Cards in fine or worse condition must be played in sleeves to be tournament legal.
| vg
Wear on all edges and some wear on the bank and/or front,
| good
Heavy wear on the edges, wear on both sides, but not torn or bent.
| poor
Heavy wear, possibly bends or creases. We do not sell torn cards or cards damaged to the point where they would not fit in a sleeve.
| played
This condition is being phased out but some of our older cards are still listed as "played". These cards are generally in fine or worse condition. Generally they will require sleeves for tournament play.
Comics are graded according to Overstreet guidelines. Like cards, "mint" means no flaws. The other abbreviations used for card grading are also used for comic books.
| |
Why do you charge for postage?
Besides the actual postage costs themselves, the "postage" portion of your order goes to pay for the envelope or box and the plastic sleeves and/or bubble wrap we use. While it costs more to ship cards and comics in this way, your cards and comics will arrive complete and in the condition your ordered them.
| |
What shipping options do you offer?
When you check out, you will be offered to choose one of the following shipping options. The option you choose will increase the postage costs by the listed amount. Each item you add to your cart will also increase the postage costs (cards are $0.10 each to ship, comics are $0.25 each to ship, other items may be more). In general, the more expensive the option, the faster and/or more secure it is. Email us if you have specific questions about shipping options.
